1. Delhi's Aditi Chauhan has created history for India as she became the first Indian woman to win the 'Women Footballer of the Year' Award at the third Asian Football Awards in London. She inked a deal with English Premier League (EPL) club West Ham United ladies team, becoming the first woman from the country to have been signed up by a top club in England.

दिल्ली की अदिति चौहान ने लंदन में तीसरे एशियाई फुटबाल अवार्ड में 'वोमन फुटबॉलर ऑफ द ईयर' का पुरस्कार जीतकर भारत के लिए इतिहास रच दिया। वह भारत की पहली महिला फुटबालर हैं जिनके साथ इंग्लैंड के शीर्ष क्लब इंग्लिश प्रीमियर लीग (ईपीएल) क्लब वेस्ट हैम युनाइटेड लेडीज टीम ने करार किया है।

2. French President Francois Hollande will be the chief guest at India's Republic Day celebrations in 2016. It was confirmed by French authorities. India will celebrate its 67th Republic Day on 26 January 2016.

फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति फ्रांस्वा ओलांद 2016 में भारत के गणतंत्र दिवस समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि होंगे। इसकी पुष्टि फ्रांस के अधिकारियों ने की। भारत 26 जनवरी 2016 को अपना 67वां गणतंत्र दिवस मनाएगा।

3. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman of Ambuja Neotia group, was elected as the President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) for the year 2016. Neotia will succeed the current FICCI President Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director of Bharat Hotels Ltd, during the chamber's AGM in December 2015.

अंबुजा नियोतिया ग्रुप के अध्यक्ष हर्षवर्धन नियोतिया को वर्ष 2016 के लिए फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन चैंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (फिक्की) का अध्यक्ष चुना गया। दिसंबर 2015 में फिक्की की वार्षिक आम बैठक के दौरान नियोतिया निवर्तमान अध्यक्ष ज्योत्सना सूरी से पदभार ग्रहण करेंगे, जो भारत होटल्स की अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक हैं।

4. Indian Red Cross Society Secretary General and Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Satya Paul Agarwal passed away. Dr. Agarwal was a renowned neurosurgeon, academician and public health administrator. He had been the Secretary General of the Indian Red Cross Society since 2005.

भारतीय रेड क्रॉस सोसायटी के महासचिव और पद्म भूषण पुरस्कार से सम्मानित डॉ. सत्या पॉल अग्रवाल का निधन हो गया। डॉ. अग्रवाल एक प्रसिद्ध न्यूरोसर्जन, शिक्षाविद् और सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य प्रशासक थे। वह 2005 से भारतीय रेड क्रॉस सोसायटी के महासचिव थे।

5. Russia and Egypt signed an agreement. Under the agreement Russia will build a nuclear power plant in Egypt, with Russia extending a loan to Egypt to cover the cost of construction.

रूस और मिस्र ने एक समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए। समझौते के तहत रूस मिस्र में एक परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र का निर्माण करेगा तथा निर्माण की लागत को पुरा करने के लिए वह मिस्र को ऋण देगा।

6. South Australia signed a historic 'sister-state agreement' with Rajasthan that would pave new ways to boost export and investment opportunities between the two states. The sister-state relationship between South Australia and Rajasthan is based on a two-way exchange of research, policy and technical capabilities.

दक्षिण आस्ट्रेलिया ने राजस्थान के साथ ऐतिहासिक ‘सहयोगी राज्य का समझौता’ किया है जिससे दोनों राज्यों के बीच परस्पर निर्यात एवं निवेश के नये मौकों को बढावा मिलेगा। यह संबंध दोनों राज्यों के बीच परस्पर अनुसंधान, नीति एवं तकनीकी क्षमतओं के आदान-प्रदान पर आधारित है।

7. India finished its campaign in the Track Asia Cup cycling meet held in New Delhi by winning 11 medals, including 3 gold medals, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals. India ranked third in the overall medals tally. South Korea finished at the top with six gold, three silver and three bronze medals while Uzbekistan secured second place.

भारत ने नई दिल्ली में समाप्त हुए ट्रैक एशिया कप साइकिलिंग मीट में कुल 11 पदक जीते। अंतिम दिन भारत ने 3 स्वर्ण, 3 रजत और 5 कांस्य पदकों के साथ अपने अभियान का समापन किया। पदक तालिका में भारत तीसरे स्थान पर रहा। दक्षिण कोरिया ने छह स्वर्ण, तीन रजत और तीन कांस्य पदकों के साथ पहला स्थान हासिल किया। उज्बेकिस्तान ने दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया।

8. The 46th edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is being organized at Panaji (Goa) from 20 to 30 November 2015. The festival was inaugurated with actor Anil Kapoor presiding over the opening ceremony as the chief guest. 187 movies will be screened in World Cinema section of IFFI-2015, while 47 films will be shown in the Indian Panorama section.

भारत के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव (आईएफएफआई) के 46वें संस्करण का आयोजन 20 से 30 नवम्बर 2015 तक पणजी (गोवा) में किया जा रहा है। इस फिल्म समारोह के उद्घाटन समारोह में अभिनेता अनिल कपूर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए। इस महोत्सव में विश्व सिनेमा वर्ग में कुल 187 फिल्में दिखाई जाऐंगी जबकि भारतीय पनोरमा वर्ग में कुल 47 फिल्में दिखाई जायेंगी।

9. Tennis champion-turned Hollywood filmmaker Ashok Amritraj was awarded with an honorary doctorate of Arts by the University of East London. Amritraj was honoured for promoting talented moviemakers from across the world, including India.

टेनिस चैंपियन और हॉलीवुड फिल्म निर्माता अशोक अमृतराज को ईस्ट लंदन विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा कला के क्षेत्र में डाक्टरेट की मानद उपाधि से सम्मानित किया गया। अमृतराज को भारत समेत दुनिया भर के प्रतिभाशाली फिल्मकारों को बढावा देने के लिये सम्मानित किया गया।

10. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) unanimously adopted a French-sponsored resolution 2249 (2015) calling all nations to take all necessary measures to prevent and suppress the terrorist acts of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and other extremist groups.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद (यूएनएससी) ने फ्रांस द्वारा प्रायोजित प्रस्ताव 2249 (2015) को सर्वसम्मति से पारित किया। इस प्रस्ताव के तहत सभी देशों से इस्लामिक स्टेट के आतंकवादियों और अन्य कट्टरपंथी समूहों और उनके हमलों को रोकने के लिए अपने प्रयास दोगुने करने तथा इस संबंध में समन्वित कार्रवाई की अपील की गई है।
