1. Noted Indian Economist T S Papola has been passed away. He was 74 years old. He worked as an advisor in the planning commission from 1987 to 1995. He was a founder and former director at the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development Studies, Lucknow and also the founding member of the Institute for Human Development, Delhi.

प्रसिद्ध भारतीय अर्थशास्त्री टीएस पापोला का निधन हो गया। वे 74 वर्ष के थे। उन्होंने 1987-1995 के दौरान योजना आयोग में सलाहकार के रूप में काम किया था।वह औद्योगिक विकास अध्ययन संस्थान, लखनऊ के संस्थापक और पूर्व निदेशक और मानव विकास संस्थान, दिल्ली के संस्थापक सदस्य भी थे।

2. Magna Fincorp, a Kolkata-based non-deposit taking Non-Banking Financial Company has won a Gold Award at LACP (League of American Communications Professionals) Spotlight Awards 2015. The Company is registered with the Reserve Bank of India as an asset finance company. LACP is a global competition of corporate communication materials.

4. 37 banks, led by public sector ones, have reported a 26.8 per cent rise in non-performing assets (NPAs) over the 12-month period ending September this year. This is a nearly 10 per cent rise from the 16.9 per cent growth in bad loans over the same period a year ago, with several projects, especially those in the infrastructure sector, stuck. The banks with a major share in bad loans include Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, Indian Overseas Bank, SBI and Punjab National Bank.

सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों के नेतृत्व में 37 बैंकों ने, इस साल सितंबर को समाप्त होने वाली 12 महीने की अवधि में गैर-निष्पादित परिसंपत्तियों (एनपीए) में 26.8 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर्ज की है। यह कई परियोजनाओं विशेष रूप से बुनियादी ढांचा क्षेत्र की परियोजनाओं के अटके होने के कारण, एक साल पहले इसी अवधि में अशोध्य ऋण में 16.9 फीसदी की विकास दर से लगभग 10 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। अशोध्य ऋणों में प्रमुख हिस्सेदारी वाले बैंकों में- बैंक ऑफ इंडिया, बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा, इंडियन ओवरसीज बैंक, भारतीय स्टेट बैंक और पंजाब नेशनल बैंक शामिल हैं।

5. This year, 18 companies that have so far launched IPOs have collectively raised nearly Rs 11,000 crore, making it the best in four years in terms of fund raising through initial share sale programmes. As many as 11 companies out of the total 18 that got listed this year are trading above their issue price, an analysis of the performance of the newly-listed firms showed.

इस साल अब तक आईपीओ का शुरू करने वाली 18 कंपनियों ने सामूहिक रूप से लगभग 11,000 करोड़ रुपये जुटाए हैं जोकि चार सालों में प्रारंभिक शेयर बिक्री कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से फंड जुटाने के मामले में सबसे अच्छा वर्ष है। नव सूचीबद्ध कंपनियों के प्रदर्शन के एक विश्लेषण से पता चला है कि इस साल सूचीबद्ध होने वाली कुल 18 में से 11 कंपनियां अपने निर्गम मूल्य से ऊपर कारोबार कर रही हैं।

6. Government is planning to put 98 per cent of sectors, which are open to foreign investments, under the automatic route so that businessmen won't need to visit the Finance Ministry or 'Udyog Bhavan' for any approval.

सरकार विदेशी निवेश के लिए खुले 98 फीसदी क्षेत्रों को स्वचालित मार्ग के तहत डालने की योजना बना रही है जिससे कि व्यापारियों को किसी मंजूरी के लिए वित्त मंत्रालय या 'उद्योग भवन' का चक्कर लगाने की जरूरत समाप्त हो जायेगी।

7. China is likely to invest over USD one trillion overseas and import USD 10 trillion commodities over the next five years, Premier Li Keqiang has said as the world's second largest economy looks to invest its record USD 3.50 trillion forex reserves abroad to utilise it to spur growth. As long as China's annual economic growth remains above 6.5 percent in the next few years, it can get close to the target of becoming a high-income country by 2020.

चीन के प्रधानमंत्री ली केकियांग ने कहा है कि दुनिया की दूसरी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था विकास को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिये अपने 3.50 खरब अमरीकी डालर की विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार का उपयोग करने के लिए विदेशों में रिकॉर्ड निवेश करेगी जिसके चलते चीन द्वारा अगले पांच वर्षों में विदेशों में 1 खरब अमेरिकी डॉलर से भी अधिक के निवेश और 10 खरब अमरीकी डालर मूल्य की वस्तुओं का आयात किये जाने की संभावना है।जब तक चीन की वार्षिक आर्थिक वृद्धि अगले कुछ वर्षों में 6.5 प्रतिशत से ऊपर बनी हुई है, यह 2020 तक एक उच्च आय वाला देश बनने के लक्ष्य के करीब पहुँच सकता है।

8. Idea Cellular has entered into an agreement with Videocon Telecommunications for acquiring the rights to use the latter's spectrum for the telecom service areas of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh (West) for Rs 3,310 crore through a spectrum trading agreement.

आइडिया सेल्युलर ने 3310 करोड़ रुपये के एक स्पेक्ट्रम व्यापार समझौते के द्वारा गुजरात और उत्तर प्रदेश (पश्चिम) की दूरसंचार सेवा क्षेत्रों के स्पेक्ट्रम का उपयोग करने का अधिकार प्राप्त करने के लिए वीडियोकॉन टेलीकम्युनिकेशंस के साथ एक समझौता किया है।

9. Asia is poised to drive global trade to around USD 68.5 trillion by 2050 and growth of merchandise exports from India is set to outpace China, an HSBC report says. According to new forecasts in HSBC's landmark Trade Winds report, Asia is likely to be the starting point for a quadrupling of worldwide exports to an estimated USD 68.5 trillion by 2050.

एचएसबीसी की एक रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि, 2050 तक एशिया के कारण वैश्विक व्यापार बढ़कर लगभग 68.5 खरब अमेरिकी डॉलर हो जायेगा तथा भारत से पण्य निर्यात की वृद्धि दर चीन से आगे निकल जाने का अनुमान है। एचएसबीसी की ऐतिहासिक ट्रेड विंड्स रिपोर्ट में नये पूर्वानुमान के अनुसार, 2050 तक एशिया के दुनिया भर के निर्यात का प्रारंभिक बिंदु बन जाने की संभावना है तथा वैश्विक निर्यात चार गुना बढ़कर 68.5 खरब तक पहुँच जायेगा।

10. ASEAN leaders declared the establishment of an EU-style regional economic bloc, ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), a single market with a free flow of goods, capital and skilled labour in the region. The Kuala Lumpur declaration on the establishment of the AEC was signed by the leaders of 10-nation grouping in front of world leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

आसियान के नेताओं ने क्षेत्र में नि:शुल्क माल प्रवाह, पूंजी और कुशल श्रम के एकल बाजार के लिये यूरोपीय संघ-शैली के प्रारूप पर क्षेत्रीय आर्थिक गुट-आसियान आर्थिक समुदाय (एईसी) की स्थापना की घोषणा की है।प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासचिव बान की मून सहित वैश्विक नेताओं के समक्ष 10 देशों के समूह के नेताओं ने एईसी की स्थापना पर कुआलालंपुर घोषणा पर हस्ताक्षर किए।

11. The Supreme Court has asked Vodafone Mobile Services Ltd (VMSL) to pay Rs 2,000 crore to the government in pursuance of the proposed merger of licenses of its four entities into itself. A bench headed by Justice J S Khehar said the central government would approve the merger as soon as the amount is paid to it by the firm. The order came on the plea of the government filed against the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) order allowing provisional merger of the licenses of four entities.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने वोडाफोन मोबाइल सर्विसेज लिमिटेड (VMSL) से कहा है कि, वह अपनी चार संस्थाओं के लाइसेंस के प्रस्तावित विलय के अनुसरण में सरकार को 2,000 करोड़ रुपये का भुगतान करने करे। न्यायमूर्ति जे एस खेहर की अध्यक्षता वाली खंडपीठ ने कहा है कि जैसे ही फर्म द्वारा राशि का भुगतान कर दिया जाता है वैसे ही केंद्र सरकार इस विलय को मंजूरी प्रदान कर देगी।यह आदेश दूरसंचार विवाद निपटान अपीलीय न्यायाधिकरण (टीडीसैट) द्वारा चार संस्थाओं के लाइसेंस की अनंतिम विलय की अनुमति के आदेश के खिलाफ सरकार द्वारा दायर की गयी याचिका पर आया है।
