1. India’s Thakur Anoop Singh won Mr World Bodybuilding title-2015 in the 7th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Championships held in Bangkok, Thailand. He won gold medal in the fitness physique category. Overall, India won 11 medals in the championships that saw participation from 47 nations.

भारत के ठाकुर अनूप सिंह ने बैंकॉक, थाईलैंड में आयोजित 7वीं डब्लूबीपीएफ वर्ल्ड बॉडी बिल्डिंग एंड फिजिक चैम्पियनशिप में वर्ष 2015 का मिस्टर वर्ल्ड बॉडी बिल्डिंग का खिताब जीता। उन्होंने फिटनेस फिजिक वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक जीता। इस प्रतियोगिता में भारत ने कुल 11 पदक जीते तथा इसमें 47 देशों से प्रतिभागी आए थे।

3. Four European countries - Germany, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland - announced a new $500 million initiative that will find new ways to create incentives aimed at large scale cuts in greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries to combat climate change. The World Bank Group worked with the countries to develop the 'Transformative Carbon Asset Facility' initiative.

यूरोप के चार देशों-जर्मनी, नार्वे, स्वीडन और स्विटजरलैंड ने जलवायु परिवर्तन का मुकाबला करने में भारत सहित विकासशील देशों में बड़े पैमाने पर ग्रीनहाउस गैसों की कटौती को लक्षित कर प्रोत्साहन के लिए नए तरीकों को तलाशने को लेकर 50 करोड़ डॉलर की पहल की घोषणा की है। विश्व बैंक समूह ने ‘ट्रांसफोरमेटिव कार्बन एसेट फेसिलिटी’ पहल विकसित करने के लिए देशों के साथ काम किया है।

4. Senior public health specialist Henk Bekedam has taken charge as the World Health Organisation (WHO) representative to India. Henk Bekedam is a Dutch national and a medical doctor by training.

वरिष्ठ लोक स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञ हेंक बेकेदम ने भारत में विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में कार्यभार संभाल लिया। हेंक बेकेदम एक डच नागरिक और प्रशिक्षण से एक मेडिकल डॉक्टर हैं।

5. Bihar has emerged as the fastest growing state in terms of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), clocking a growth rate of 17.06 per cent in FY 2014-15, while Maharashtra grew by 11.69 per cent to become the biggest state with Rs. 16.87 trillion economy. Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh come in the second place, but far behind Maharashtra, with a GSDP of Rs 9.67 trillion each, according to the report by Brickwork Ratings.

बिहार सकल राज्य घरेलू उत्पाद (जीएसडीपी) के मामले सबसे आगे है। वित्त वर्ष 2014-15 में बिहार की आर्थिक वृद्धि दर 17.06 प्रतिशत रही है। वहीं महाराष्ट्र 11.69 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर तथा 16,870 अरब रुपये के साथ सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था के रूप में उभरा है। बिक्रवर्क रेटिंग्स की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार इस मामले में तमिलनाडु और उत्तर प्रदेश दूसरे स्थान पर रहे हैं, लेकिन ये महाराष्ट्र से काफी पीछे हैं। इन राज्यों का जीएसडीपी 9,670 अरब रुपये (प्रत्येक) है।

6. Tata Group announced signing up an alliance with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd (ICBC) to provide it with a host of banking services. Under the alliance, ICBC will provide the Tata group with financing products, global cash management, consulting, international trade finance business, investment banking, foreign exchange, derivatives trading, and other global financial services. The services will be provided to Tata Group in locations including India, China, the United States and Europe.

टाटा समूह ने घोषणा की कि उसने विभिन्न प्रकार की वैश्विक बैंकिंग सेवाएं प्राप्त करने के लिए इण्डस्ट्रियल एण्ड कॉमर्शियल बैंक ऑफ चाइना (आईसीबीसी) के साथ करार किया है। इस गठबंधन के तहत आईसीबीसी टाटा समूह को तमाम प्रकार की वैश्विक बैंकिंग सेवाएं प्रदान करेगा जैसे उत्पादों की फाइनेंसिंग, वैश्विक नकदी प्रबन्धन, सलाहकार सेवाएं, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार वित्त सेवाएं, निवेश बैंकिंग सेवाएं, विदेशी विनिमय, डिराइवेटिव ट्रेडिंग सेवाएं, आदि। आईसीबीसी टाटा समूह को यह सेवाएं भारत, चीन, अमेरिका तथा यूरोप में प्रदान करेगा।

7. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved signing and ratification of Protocol between India and Japan for amending the Double Taxation Avoidance Convention (DTAC) in order to facilitate tax-related exchange of information. DTAC was signed between the two countries in 1989 for avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion through a protocol.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता वाली केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने भारत और जापान के बीच दोहरे कराधान से बचाव हेतु समझौते (डीटीएसी) पर हस्ताक्षर करने और प्रोटोकॉल के अनुसमर्थन को मंजूरी प्रदान की। इसका उद्देश्य कर सम्बन्धी सूचना का आदान-प्रदान सुगम बनाना है। डीटीएसी पर दोनों देशों ने वर्ष 1989 में हस्ताक्षर किये थे जिसका एक अन्य उद्देश्य प्रोटोकॉल के माध्यम से राजकोषीय अपवंचन की रोकथाम करना भी था।

8. Four persons of Indian origin are featured in 'Foreign Policy' magazine's list of 100 Leading Global Thinkers who have generated ideas that could promise humankind a better future. These four thinkers are Nina Tandon, Rajan Anandan, Ayesha Khanna and Zainab Ghadiyali.

प्रतिष्ठित 'फॉरेन पॉलिसी' पत्रिका ने दुनिया के 100 प्रमुख विचारकों की सूची में चार भारतीय मूल के लोगों के भी नाम शामिल किए हैं, जिन्होंने मानवता की बेहतरी के लिए नए विचार देने का काम किया। इन चार विचारकों के नाम हैं-- नीना टंडन, राजन आनंदन, आयशा खन्ना और जैनब गाडियाली।

9. Pulin Kumar, senior legal and compliance director of Adidas India group , has been conferred with the Indian National Bar Association's ‘General Counsel of the year 2015 - Retail Award’. Kumar received the award for his contribution to the legal field in and outside the country for more than 21 years.

एडिडास इंडिया समूह के वरिष्ठ कानूनी व अनुपालन निदेशक पुलीन कुमार को इंडियन नेशनल बार एसोसिएशन का ‘जनरल काउंसल ऑफ द इयर 2015- रिटेल अवॉर्ड’ प्रदान किया गया। पुलीन को यह अवॉर्ड भारत और विदेशों में कानूनी क्षेत्र में 21 साल से अधिक समय तक योगदान के लिए दिया गया।

10. Former US National Security Adviser Sandy Berger passed away. He was 70 years old. He served as National Security Adviser during the tenure of former US President Bill Clinton.

अमेरिका के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार सैंडी बर्गर का निधन हो गया। वे 70 वर्ष के थे। वे अमेरिका के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति बिल क्लिंटन के कार्यकाल में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार पद पर कार्यरत थे।
