1. Indira Gandhi International Airport – IGIA has received three international awards, including for best airport by size in the Asia Pacific region. These awards have been given by the Airports Council International – ACI for 2015.

इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे को तीन अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मान मिले हैं। इस हवाईअड्डे को एशिया प्रशांत क्षेत्र में अपनी श्रेणी का सर्वश्रेष्ठ हवाईअड्डा चुना गया है। यह सम्मान एयरपोर्ट काउंसिल इंटरनेशनल (एसीआई) ने वर्ष 2015 के लिए दिए हैं।

2. The Government said that Public Provident Fund will not be taxed on withdrawal and only the interest that accrues on contributions to Employee Provident Fund made after 1st of April this year will be taxed while principal will continue to remain tax exempt.

सरकार ने कहा कि पीपीएफ निकालने पर टैक्स नहीं लगेगा और बजट प्रस्तावों के तहत सिर्फ कर्मचारियों के एक अप्रैल के बाद कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि कोष (ईपीएफ) में किए गए योगदान पर जो ब्याज मिलेगा, वही कर के दायरे में होगा और जबकि मूल राशि पर छूट बरकरार रहेगी।

4. Oscar-winning actor George Kennedy died. He was 91. Kennedy won Oscar award for his work in 1967 film “Cool Hand Luke”.

ऑस्कर विजेता अभिनेता जॉर्ज केनेडी का निधन हो गया है। वह 91 साल के थे। केनेडी को 1967 की फिल्म ‘कूल हैंड ल्यूक‘ में शानदार अभिनय के लिए ऑस्कर मिला था।

5. Former National 6Reds runner-up Rahul Sachdev clinched his maiden title by winning the 1st All India Open Invitational Snooker Championship 2016.

पूर्व राष्ट्रीय 6 रेड उप विजेता राहुल सचदेव ने पहले आल इंडिया ओपन आमंत्रण स्नूकर चैम्पियनशिप 2016 के साथ अपने कॅरियर का पहला खिताब जीता।

6. Indian racing driver Armaan Ebrahim was awarded with the Motorsports Man of the Year trophy and B.I. Chandhok received the Lifetime Achievement award for his immense contribution to the field of motorsports in the country by The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI).

फेडरेशन ऑफ मोटर स्पोर्ट्स क्लब ऑफ इंडिया (एफएमएससीआई) की ओर से शीर्ष ड्राइवर इब्राहिम अरमान को ‘मोटर स्पोर्ट्स मैन ऑफ द ईयर’ के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया, जबकि बीआई चंडोक को देश में मोटर स्पोर्ट्स के क्षेत्र में अहम योगदान देने के लिए लाइफ टाइम अचीवमेंट पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया।

7. Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj will inaugrate first Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi. Raisina Dialogue is designed to explore and examine the prospects and opportunities for Asian integration. This summit will focus on Asia’s physical, economic, human and digital connectivity.

विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज नई दिल्ली में पहले रायसीना डायलॉग का उद्घाटन करेंगी। रायसीना डायलॉग को एशिया के देशों को जोड़ने के अवसरों और संभावनाओं की खोज के लिए तैयार किया गया है। इस सम्मेलन में एशिया के भौतिक, आर्थिक, मानवीय और डिजिटल संपर्कों पर ध्यान दिया जायेगा।

8. UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has appointed the ‘West-Eastern Divan Orchestra’ as the United Nations Global Advocate for Cultural Understanding.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र के महासचिव बान की-मून ने ‘वेस्टर्न-ईस्टर्न डिवान ऑर्केस्ट्रा’ को ‘युनाइटेड नेशन्स ग्लोबल एडवोकेट फॉर कल्चरल अंडरस्टैंडिग’ के रूप में मान्यता दी है।

9. Rajasthan will host the popular National Lagori Championship 2016.

जनलोकप्रिय खेल लागोरी की राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप-2016 की मेजबानी राजस्थान को मिली है।
