1. International Monetary Fund has projected a robust growth rate of 7.3 per cent for the country this fiscal, picking up to 7.5 per cent next year.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष (आईएमएफ) ने चालू वित्त वर्ष में भारत की आर्थिक विकास दर के 7.3 फीसदी रहने का अनुमान लगाया और कहा कि अगले वित्त वर्ष में यह बढ़कर 7.5 फीसदी तक पहुंच सकता है।

2. Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy launched the first air ambulance service in the state. This will be exclusively for speed in organ transplant.

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री ओमेन चांडी ने राज्य में पहली बार एयर एंबुलेंस की शुरुआत की। इसका प्रयोग केवल अंग प्रत्यारोपण (ट्रांसप्लांट) के लिए किया जाएगा।

3. The Union Cabinet was apprised of the three Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) and Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Japan and Russia in the various fields of Railways.

सरकार ने रेलवे के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में जापान एवं रूस के साथ किये गये तीन सहयोग ज्ञापन (एमओसी) और समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) का अनुमोदन किया।

4. Eminent poet Dr Bhagwati Lal Vyas has been chosen for the 25th Bihari Puraskar 2015. He will be awarded for his anthology of Rajasthani poems ‘Katha Sun Aawe Hai Sabad’ published in 2010.

वर्ष 2015 का 25वां ‘बिहारी’ पुरस्कार जाने माने साहित्यकार डॉक्टर भगवतीलाल व्यास को दिया जायेगा। उनको यह पुरस्कार वर्ष 2010 में प्रकाशित उनके राजस्थानी काव्य संग्रह ‘कठा सूं आवे है सबद’ के लिए दिया जायेगा।

5. Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Alphabet – the parent company of Google, has been chosen by Pentagon to head a new advisory board on defence innovation.

गूगल की होल्डिंग कंपनी अल्फाबेट के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष एरिक श्मिट को पेंटागन ने रक्षा नवाचार पर एक नए परार्शदाता बोर्ड की अध्यक्षता करने के लिए चुना है।

जमैका के उसैन बोल्ट, टेनिस के नंबर एक पुरुष खिलाड़ी नोवाक जोकोविच और बैलन डी ऑर अवॉर्ड विजेता लियोनेल मेसी को लोरेस वर्ल्ड स्पोर्ट्समैन ऑफ द ईयर अवॉर्ड के लिए नामांकित किया गया है।

7. Forbes magazine included 190 women billionaires in the list of world’s richest people in the world. Five Indian women Savitri Jindal (453rd), Indu Jain (549 rank), Smita Crishna (810th), Leena Tewari (1067th) and Vinod Gupta (1577th) have made it to this list.

फोर्ब्स पत्रिका ने दुनिया की सबसे धनी हस्तियों की इस साल की सूची में 190 महिला अरबपतियों को शामिल किया है। इस सूची में शामिल महिलाओं में पांच भारतीय भी हैं। इनमें सावित्री जिंदल (453वें स्थान), इंदु जैन (549वां स्थान), स्मिता कृष्णा (810वें स्थान), लीना तिवारी (1067वें स्थान) व विनोद गुप्ता (1577वें स्थान) पर रखा गया है।

8. The first U.S.-India Workshop on Traditional Medicine began in New Delhi. The Workshop was jointly inaugurated by the Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Health & Family Welfare, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik and U.S. Ambassador to India, Mr. Richard Verma and Assistant Secretary of Global Affairs at HHS, Ambassador Jimmy Kolker.

पारंपरिक औषधि के बारे में पहली अमेरिका भारत कार्यशाला नई दिल्ली में शुरू हुई। इस कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन संयुक्त रूप से आयुष (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) तथा स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण राज्य मंत्री श्री श्रीपद यशो नायक तथा भारत में अमेरिका के राजदूत श्री रिचर्ड वर्मा और अमेरिकी स्वास्थ्य और मानव सेवा विभाग (एचएचएस) में वैश्विक मामलों के सहायक सचिव एमबेसेडर जीम कोलकेर ने किया।

न्यूजीलैंड क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान मार्टिन क्रो का निधन हो गया है। वह 53 वर्ष के थे।

10. Namibian President Hage Geingob has officially inaugurated the northern main road MR 129 built by a Chinese company.

नामीबिया के राष्ट्रपति हेज जिनजोब ने उत्तरी मुख्य सड़क एमआर 129 का आधिकारिक रूप से उद्घाटन किया, जिसका निर्माण चीन की एक कंपनी ने किया है।

11. The joint venture between Bank of India, Union Bank of India and Dai-ichi Life of Japan, SUD Life announced the launch of its new critical illness policy SUD Life “AAROGYAM”.

12. PepsiCo has inked a four-year ground sponsorship agreement with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).PepsiCo India will be the official partner of BCCI for the next four years.

भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) एवं पेप्सीको इंडिया ने भारत में क्रिकेट के खेल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए चार साल का प्रायोजन करार किया। पेप्सीको इंडिया अगले चार सालों के लिए बीसीसीआई का ऑफिशियल पार्टनर होगा।
