1. Fitch Ratings lowered India’s economic growth forecast for the financial year 2016-17 to 7.7 per cent, but maintained the GDP projection for current fiscal at 7.5 per cent.

फिच रेटिंग्स ने वित्त वर्ष 2016-17 के लिए भारत के इकोनॉमिक ग्रोथ के अनुमान को घटाकर 7.7 फीसदी कर दिया है। हालांकि चालू फाइनेंशियल ईयर के लिए 7.5 फीसदी की ग्रोथ के अनुमान को बरकरार रखा है।

2. The Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt Maneka Sanjay Gandhi launched “Mahila e-Haat”, an online marketing platform for women. Mahila e-Haat is a unique online platform where participants can display their products. It is an initiative for women across the country as a part of ‘Digital India’ and ‘Stand Up India’ initiatives of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.

In the first phase of SAGY, the PM had adopted Jayapur village in Sevapuri Assembly segment of Varanasi.

1. The sex ratio in Gujarat has come down to 919 in 2011 from 920 in 2001 as against significant increase of 10 points in the national average during this period, according to the Socio-Economic Review for 2015-16 tabled in the State Assembly.

6. NASSCOM Foundation has launched the Indian Public Library Movement (IPLM).The IPLM movement will start by reaching out to a million library users at 300 district-level libraries and proving them with community driven services such as computer training classes.
