#* Apple iOS 9: Seven key highlights of the new mobile OS announced at WWDC 2015
Among the host of announcements to come from WWDC 2015, the iOS 9 seemed the most relevant to consumers. Apple’s new mobile operating system is all set to get an update this fall with iOS 9 set to run on upcoming, as well as some existing Apple devices. Here are the key highlights of iOS 9 that makes it a much-needed update to the iOS 8.

Less space

The space required for iOS 9 has been significantly reduced. Unlike previous iOS update capacities, the space required by iOS 9 has been dropped by less than half. iOS 9 will only come as a 1.8GB installation size instead of a whopping 4.6GB of iOS 8. This would come as a big relief to combat storage issues.

Compatibility

Apple is known to drop support for older devices. However, this time, all previous devices supported by iOS 8 will run iOS 9. The free upgrade will be offered this fall. This means iOS 9 will be seen on all phones from iPhone 4S to iPhone 6 Plus; and tablets such as iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad 2, iPad 3rd gen, iPad 4th gen, iPad mini, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3 as well as the 5th gen iPod Touch. The low space and support for larger number of devices will ensure longevity of the usage of its devices.

#* RBI debt recast norms: Banks will be left holding the bag if they fail to find buyers for cos
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has permitted banks to take control of 51 percent of stake in a company that has failed to recover financial health even after a period of financial restructuring, typically due to management inefficiency or other factors.
This provision, part of the strategic debt restructuring exercise (SDR), is aimed at ensuring promoters of defaulted companies have more ‘skin in the game’. The RBI’s move is part of a coordinated action plan with markets regulator, Securities and exchange board of India (Sebi), which in March had allowed banks to convert part or full debt of listed defaulter companies into equity. Both the RBI and Sebi have made the process easier for banks and become aggressive in taking control of defaulter companies. The RBI has said banks do not need to make provisions (money that is required to be set aside on high-risk perceived capital) since the exercise will not be treated as financial restructuring. Sebi too has relaxed the regular rules that will apply when acquiring significant stake in firms such as an open offer to minority shareholders.

#* As Mumbai saturates and stagnates, Pune takes over
Mumbai had for long held the title of being the most desirable city in India to live in. This had nothing to do with ease of living and everything to do with its economy. Despite the fact that life in Mumbai is hard for everyone but the richest of the rich, it trumped all other cities in the quality and availability of jobs.   However, this perception has now changed forever. Just 200 kilometers away, Pune has emerged as the more preferred destination on every count – lifestyle, job opportunities and real estate investment. It all began with the Mumbai-Pune expressway, which reduced the distance between the two cities. Today, people can actually work in Mumbai and live in Pune.    Pune is still seeing a very healthy demand for property. While neighbouring Mumbai is now being seen a largely unaffordable, real estate investors are now flocking to Pune in order to participate in the real estate boom in this city. According to Magicbricks' Housing Sentiment Index, Pune saw only a marginal correction in sentiment while Mumbai, which was already looking at subdued sentiments for over a year now, is still in the grips of a prolonged slowdown in its real estate markets.  - See more at: http://www.indiainfoline.com/article/news-top-story/as-mumbai-saturates-and-stagnates-pune-takes-over-115060900252_1.html#sthash.UgXZMiQr.dpuf

#* More than 95pc of world's population faces health problems
So it turns out, over 95 percent of people in the world are facing some or the other heath issue.According to a major new analysis from the Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) 2013, only one in 20 people worldwide had no health problems in 2013, with a third of the world's population (2.3 billion individuals) experiencing more than five ailments. Moreover, worldwide, the proportion of lost years of healthy life (disability-adjusted life years; DALYS ) due to illness (rather than death) rose from around a fifth (21 percent) in 1990 to almost a third (31 percent) in 2013. As the world's population grows, and the proportion of elderly people increases, the number of people living in suboptimum health is set to rise rapidly over coming decades, warn the authors.Lead author and University of Washington Professor Theo Vos said that the fact that mortality has been declining faster than non-fatal disease and injury prevalence is further evidence of the importance of paying attention to the rising health loss from these leading causes of disability, and not simply focusing on reducing mortality.
